Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist (General Ultrasound)
Duration: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts/week (80 hours per pay period)
Shift Details:
Friday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday: 7:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Monday: 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM
Call: Required Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
Local Candidates Accepted: Local pay rates will apply
We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist with experience in general ultrasound , including breast imaging , to join our diagnostic imaging team for a 13-week assignment beginning in November. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a commitment to high-quality patient care and a strong proficiency in ultrasound imaging across diverse patient populations.
The technologist will perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations as prescribed by a physician, ensuring accurate, high-quality imaging studies. Responsibilities include operating ultrasound equipment, capturing clear diagnostic images, and effectively communicating findings for radiological interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and department protocols.
Accurately scan and evaluate breast tissue, along with general ultrasound exams.
Ensure proper documentation of images and patient information.
Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions to the appropriate personnel.
Take part in on-call coverage as scheduled.
Provide compassionate care to patients of all ages and medical conditions.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
ARDMS Certification in Diagnostic Medical Sonography – Required
BLS Certification – Required
Must be proficient in breast ultrasound scanning
Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours per Pay Period: 80 Hours
Shift Type: 10-hour day/evening shifts
On-Call Requirement: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
