A specialized opportunity is available for a Special Education Teacher to support students in grades K-4 within a substantially separate classroom designed to address therapeutic needs. This contract position offers a dedicated role focused on delivering tailored educational experiences to young learners requiring individualized support.

Location: Palmer, Massachusetts
School Level: Elementary
Contract Duration: August 25 June 19
Work Hours: 8:30 AM 3:00 PM

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized education programs (IEPs) for students with special needs in grades K-4.
• Provide therapeutic support and classroom management tailored to each student's unique requirements.
• Collaborate with related service providers, therapists, and general education teachers to integrate services and foster student success.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with families and school staff.
• Utilize specialized instructional strategies to promote social, emotional, and academic growth.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification for elementary levels (K-4).
• Experience working in substantially separate classrooms or therapeutic settings.
• Strong understanding of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Interview Availability:

• Tomorrow: 12:30 PM 1:15 PM
• Friday: 8:30 AM 10:00 AM and 12:30 PM 1:30 PM
