Hiring Manager on ideal candidate:
We are seeking acute care experience to capitalize on critical thinking and immediate intervention skills.
The optimal candidate is quick to prep the patients, moving through the pre op assessment without a hiccup, identifying prohibitive factors immediately.
They will have strong IV skills in order to place lines for sedation.
They will need to multitask in post op, potentially having more than one patient at a time and interacting with each simultaneously.
They will be working and literally on her feet for the majority of the shift.
The patient census for each day is 15-18 patients.
