Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail-oriented  Interior Designer – Building Selections to join our Raleigh team. This role is responsible for leading clients through the builder selection process, ensuring cohesive, brand-aligned choices in finishes, fixtures, and furnishings. As a key design resource for our Raleigh market, you will balance creativity with efficiency while upholding Linden Creek’s aesthetic, function, and brand values.

You will work closely with the Director of Interior Design and the Interior Design Operations Manager, following defined brand standards and product guidelines, including the use of selections from the Linden Creek Shoppe and other approved vendors as needed.

Key Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Guide clients through the building selection process, from finishes to fixtures, ensuring a seamless and elevated design experience.
  • Collaborate with project managers, builders, and vendors to coordinate selections, timelines, and budgets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Raleigh-area partners, clients, and vendors.
  • Help develop and refine Linden Creek’s design standards, processes, and client-facing materials.
  • Provide creative solutions and ensure all selections align with the client’s vision and project goals.

Brand Stewardship

  • Uphold the Linden Creek aesthetic and design standards across all franchise projects.
  • Maintain brand consistency in furnishings, finishes, and spatial planning.
  • Contribute ideas for continuous improvement of franchise design processes and resources.

Qualifications

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience in interior design, preferably in a residential setting, with furnishings and builder selections.
  • Experience with franchise design or rollouts is highly desirable.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating your ability to create functional, visually cohesive design solutions.

Skills

  • Excellent time management and project organization skills; able to manage multiple deadlines at once.
  • Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.

This position reports directly to the Director of Interior Design and the Interior Design Operations Manager.
