Helicopter Mechanic - A&P   Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Helicopter Mechanic - A&P to join a dynamic aviation team supporting rotorcraft operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on our helicopter fleet to ensure safety, compliance, and operational readiness. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, experienced in rotorcraft maintenance, and committed to excellence in aviation safety.

Helicopter Mechanic - A&P Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and unscheduled maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations and manufacturer guidelines.
• Perform daily, post-flight, and through-flight inspections; troubleshoot and resolve any aircraft malfunctions.
• Maintain accurate aircraft records, log books, and status reports.
• Ensure all maintenance activities comply with FAA and federal regulations, following technical data and safety standards.
• Oversee daily maintenance operations, collaborating with team members to meet flight schedules.
• Travel as necessary to perform maintenance on fleet aircraft across various locations.
• Assist with administrative duties and support other tasks assigned by management.

Helicopter Mechanic - A&P Position Requirements

 

• 5+ years of FAR 135 rotorcraft maintenance experience.
• 3+ years of experience specifically maintaining AW119 MKII aircraft.
• Advanced electrical and avionics troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with maintenance tracking software.
• U.S. citizen with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of recent full-time rotorcraft (helicopter) maintenance experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of airframe, hydraulic, fuel, and engine systems maintenance.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including climbing, bending, and lifting up to 60 pounds.
• Strong analytical abilities to handle technical and administrative details efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills and professional demeanor.
