As part of the Enterprise Data & AI team, you'll design and automate the systems that keep HackerOne running smoothly - freeing people to focus on strategy, creativity, and impact. In this role, you'll partner across the business to deliver secure, scalable, and intelligent solutions that power collaboration, streamline operations, and strengthen resilience. From integrating cutting-edge tools to shaping incident response, you'll be at the heart of building an AI-first enterprise. Reporting to our Head of Data and located remotely in Seattle or D.C., this role offers the chance to help propel HackerOne forward as we scale with data and AI at our core. At HackerOne, we embrace a Flexible Work approach, enabling our team members to work remotely while maintaining productivity and collaboration. We are seeking candidates located in Seattle, WA or Washington D.C. , and the surrounding metropolitan areas, to facilitate occasional in-person interactions as needed. While the position is primarily remote, there will be periodic in-person requirements to support team collaboration and foster stronger connections. What You Will Do Design, build, configure, integrate, and maintain the AI First Enterprise Systems that power and enhance how Hackeronies collaborate, communicate, get things done, and scale. Streamline and automate core Enterprise Data & AI processes, so human capacity is unlocked to focus on strategic direction, creativity, and edge-case governance. Act as a trusted partner to business and technology teams, translating operational needs into scalable, secure, and automated systems using leading AI and automation tools and frameworks. Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and external development partners to design solutions, drive adoption, and win together. Play a vital role in incident response as part of our on-call rotation, helping diagnose issues, resolve disruptions, and continuously improve resilience. You'll contribute to our incident response playbook, documenting clear and simple processes for handling various types of incidents and alerts. Support change management and enablement across the company, ensuring that new systems and improvements are successfully adopted and continuously improved. Support the rebuild of company-wide access controls, ensuring security, governance, and compliance are core to every system and integration Rebuild and optimize both internal and external ticketing systems to streamline workflows, enhance customer and employee experiences, and enable seamless collaboration across teams and stakeholders. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of relevant experience in an engineering or systems role with a strong customer service mindset Hands-on experience designing, building, configuring, integrating, and maintaining AI First Enterprise Systems including Google Workspace, Slack, Atlassian, Zoom, Ironclad, Box, Monday, Freshworks, GCP, AWS, and more Experience working with SSO protocols (e.g., SAML, OIDC, SCIM), enterprise identity tools (e.g., Okta), and MDM platforms (e.g., Kandji) in a fast-paced environment Experience developing integrations and automations using tools like Workato Strong attention to detail, and ability to document actions and processes Passion for working backwards from the Customer and empathy for business stakeholders Demonstrate strong security understanding, ensuring systems and integrations are designed and maintained with security at the core Proven track record of having impact across the company, demonstrating your ability to help drive positive change, and achieve significant results Thrive on solving ambiguous problem statements in a high growth environment Excellent communication skills, and can present data-driven narratives in verbal, presentation, and written formats Preferred Qualifications Experience with Mac and Windows operating systems Experience working with Agile and iterative development processes Understanding of network architecture ITIL 4 Foundation Compensation Bands: Tier Guide Tier B: $135,000 - $162,000
